Norwegian club Tromso have confirmed that teenager Isak Hansen-Aaroen has joined Manchester United in a post on their official Instagram account
Talented teenager Isak Hansen-Aaroen has completed his transfer to Manchester United, according to his Norwegian club Tromso.
Hansen-Aaroen became Tromso’s youngest ever player last month when he made his first-team debut in the Norwegian second tier at the age of 15 years and 319 days.
He ended up featuring seven times from the bench across the season, and registered an assist in his final appearance for the club in a 5-0 win over Sandnes Ulf earlier this month.
The forward has also scored three goals in three appearances for Norway’s under-16s, and he will now link up with United ahead of his 16th birthday this Saturday.
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been scouring Scandinavia for young talent during his time in charge of the Red Devils, and in Norwegian compatriot Hansen-Aaroen he will believe that the club have snapped up a top young player.
Tromso wished the teenager well on Instagram, with a post from their official account reading: “A wonderful person. A unique football talent. Who just loves to play football now.
“From Fløya to TIL as a junior, into the academy as a 10-year-old, learns at the TIL school and debut for the first team as a 15-year-old. Assist in his last match for Tromsø IL.
Thank you so much for the last ten years and good luck in Manchester United and on in your career.
“We hope you have a great time, see you soon.”
United have been busy scouring the globe for the top young talent to add to their academy this summer, with Barcelona talent Marc Jurado also close to confirming his move.
